At my practice, therapy isn’t meant to last forever—I believe that when it’s done correctly, it creates meaningful change that empowers you to move forward with confidence. From day one, we set clear goals together and work intentionally so you can graduate from therapy when you’ve achieved them.

On average, most clients see results within 21–27 sessions over the course of a year. This focused, goal-driven approach often saves you both time and money compared to traditional weekly therapy, where progress may be slower and long-term dependence is common. With us, your success means you won’t need us forever—because you’ll have the tools to thrive on your own.

Insurance
Therapy is an investment in your health and relationships.

My practice is private-pay, which means my team and I do not work directly with insurance. Many clients do receive partial reimbursement through out-of-network benefits, and we’re happy to provide a statement (known as a “superbill”) to help with that process.

Fees vary by clinician and service, and we’ll review everything with you before your first session so you feel clear and supported.

Unlike regular therapy, which may focus on general mental health or life stressors, a sex therapist has advanced training in sexual functioning and relationships. Sessions are always talk-based—there is no physical contact—and provide a safe, confidential space to discuss sensitive concerns without judgment.

    Many people search for “sex therapy near me” when struggling with issues like low libido, painful sex, mismatched desire, or performance anxiety. In sex therapy, you’ll gain practical tools, communication skills, and guided exercises to use outside of session so you can see real progress.   • Our world typically suggests that people see a medical doctor first. As a Sex Doctor who specializes in working with women experiencing vaginal pain disorders, I find that most women come to me as a last ditch effort after trying multiple different medical interventions without relief.

    When I am able to work with a woman while she’s also receiving medical care, it allows for well-rounded support instead of leaning on me as a last ditch effort.

    Pain and sexual dysfunction can be caused by medical issues, but doctors are NOT trained or educated in sexual functioning, sexual desire or sexual arousal in a way that may be needed to understand how to properly address their client’s needs.

  • I will begin by going over confidentiality, privacy, and how sexual content is handled often come up. We will also go over the expectations for our work together.

    After this, I will go over some basic questions about you, your upbringing, sexual history, relationship dynamics, medical history and goals for therapy.

  • Sex therapy is highly effective. Research shows that sex therapy helps individuals and couples resolve concerns like low desire, arousal or erection difficulties, painful sex, vaginal pain disorders, performance anxiety, mismatched libido, and challenges with intimacy and communication.

    Unlike medical treatments that focus only on symptoms, sex therapy addresses both the physical and emotional factors that impact your sexual wellbeing.

    Because sessions are tailored to your unique goals, most clients begin noticing improvements in confidence, connection, and satisfaction within a few months. Our goal is not just to reduce symptoms, but to give you the tools and strategies you need to experience long-term change—even after therapy ends.

  • It’s common for one partner to feel hesitant about starting sex therapy. If your partner isn’t ready, you can still begin on your own. Individual sessions allow you to explore your concerns, learn new strategies, and build confidence—often creating positive changes that naturally shift the dynamic in your relationship.

    Individual sessions also allow for you to understand the issue from your own perspective and your role in the issues of your partnership. I always tell people to worry about keeping your side of the street clean before worrying about someone else.
