12 weeks. One goal.
Your whole life waiting on the other side.
The Blau Method Intensive is goal-oriented work with a deadline. No open-ended sessions. No talking in circles. You bring the goal — Dr. Carli brings the path, the structure, and the accountability to make sure you actually arrive.
Finally, less nodding, and more results.
Why a program, and not more therapy?
Because insight without action is just an expensive conversation.
Dr. Carli spent fifteen years as a therapist, and she still believes in therapy — it lives on at Boutique Psychotherapy, in the hands of the clinical team she trained. But she watched someone she loves rebuild his life through a program, and she couldn't unsee the difference. Structure. Steps. Accountability. A finish line that opens into a new beginning.
Programs weren't the problem. The problem was that we only offer them to people in crisis. The Blau Method exists because everyone deserves a structured path to a better life — not just those in recovery.
Built on a proven foundation. Rebuilt for you.
The Blau Method takes what a century of recovery programs got right and asks a bold question: what if this worked for everyone?
Dr. Blau was utterly inspired by the behavioral modulation and change that her husband was able to achieve through working the problem of Alcoholics Anonymous. Although not an alcoholic herself, Dr. Blau was fascinated by the workings of the program, the 12 step model, the accountability features and the way it was able to keep people from making bad choices. But what if there were a program like this for people who don’t struggle with addiction? What if every day people just need structure around their own behavioral change? Dr. Blau set out on a mission, and created The Blau Method: goal oriented, rooted in psychology, based in behavioral modification.
From the 12-step tradition, the Method borrows the architecture of change:
A defined path. Recovery programs work because nobody wanders. Every week of the Method has a purpose, a place in the sequence, and a reason it comes when it does.
Radical honesty first. Every program worth anything starts with admitting the truth. Your first weeks are a fearless inventory of what you want and what's actually been in the way.
Accountability to another person. Nobody transforms alone. In the Intensive, Dr. Carli is your sponsor, coach, and witness — the person you answer to between where you are and where you're going.
One week at a time. Big change is just small promises kept in sequence. The Method breaks your goal into weekly commitments you can actually keep.
From Dr. Carli's own 12-Week Path, it adds what recovery programs never had:
A doctor at the helm. Every session is guided by a Ph.D. with fifteen years of clinical experience — not a peer, a professional.
One goal, chosen by you. You're not working someone else's steps toward someone else's definition of better. The Method is built around your goal, named in week one.
A finish line. Recovery is lifelong; the Intensive is not. Twelve weeks, three phases, and an ending designed to leave you with your own method — so you don't need the program forever.
Guided weekly sessions. Not open-ended talk, and not a workbook you're left alone with. Every session is led, structured, and pointed at the goal.
Steps gave the world a way out of addiction. The 12-Week Path gives you a way into the life you keep putting off.
What the Intensive actually is?
The Blau Method Intensive is a private, 12-week, one-on-one program built on the 12-Week Path. It is not therapy. It is focused, structured work toward one goal that you name on day one.
Maybe that goal is leaving the job that's shrinking you. Maybe it’s finding tools to be emotionally regulated and less reactive. Maybe it's finally feeling at home in your body. Maybe it's the relationship you keep almost having, the boundary you keep almost setting, the life you keep almost starting. The Method doesn't care how long you've been stuck. It cares where you're going.

How the twelve weeks unfold
Phase I · Weeks 1–4 — Get Honest. We name the goal and face what's really underneath it. What do you actually want, and what has been keeping you from it? By the end of week one you'll have a roadmap; by the end of week four you'll have no more excuses you believe.
Phase II · Weeks 5–8 — Do the Work. Patterns get challenged. Tools get used. This is the stretch where most people would quit on their own — which is exactly why you won't be on your own. Accountability kicks in and momentum becomes undeniable.
Phase III · Weeks 9–12 — Live It. We lock in the change. New habits, a clearer sense of self, and a plan for what comes after week twelve — because the goal was never to need the program forever. The goal was the life on the other side of it.
